This Saturday, GFWC will be taking part in the St. Patrick's Day festivities which include a bake sale to help end childhood hunger. This is something that is definitely a challenge and a sad one for many families around the world. If children do not have the nutrients and vitamins that their bodies need to grow and learn, they will not be able to grow up big and strong. Growing up big and strong is a phrase many parents tell their children in order to get them to eat their veggies. It makes me sad to think that their are children out there that would do anything to eat the veggies that some kids just will not eat.
It's important to remember that you can help! The statistics below definitely gives me hope that childhood hunger has an end in sight! Come out this Saturday to Kleman Plaza and get some yummy baked goods while supporting such a wonderful cause!
Be sure to hug your kids a little longer and be sure they know how blessed they are!
